I'm worried because i know when i delete picture it deletes it off all of my devices so if i backed up my new iPhone and deleted everything off my old one will the pictures delete off of my new iPhone I'm an iCloud noobie and i just bought extra storage please help 😢

No, your photos should be find in iCloud, though just to be sure, go to www.icloud.com (via a computer) and check the Photos app to make sure they are all there.
