I'm getting a new iPhone and all my photos are on iCloud and i need wipe my old iPhone will it delete it off my new iPhone?

I'm worried because i know when i delete picture it deletes it off all of my devices so if i backed up my new iPhone and deleted everything off my old one will the pictures delete off of my new iPhone I'm an iCloud noobie and i just bought extra storage please help 😢
