How do I reformat my hard drive
My 2010 MacBook is very slow booting up . I am running latest os high Sierra . I want to format my HD and reinstall high Sierra.

First make sure you have a backup.
Then restart from the recovery partition by holding command-R at startup; erase your drive and reinstall.
