Siri not working when locked

As already stated by Stedman1, please read this:

"If you have an iPhone 6s or later, or an iPad Pro*, you can use "Hey Siri" whenever you want. If you have an iPhone 6 or earlier, or another iPad or iPod touch model, you need to plug your device into power first. "

This feature with your device can only be used when it on power.

Please see below:

“Hey Siri” is supported on iPhone SE, iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro (except 12.9-inch, 1st generation), and iPad (5th generation) without being plugged into power. “Hey Siri” is supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 8 or later while plugged in. Not supported on first-generation iPad, iPad 2, and first-generation iPad mini.

It doesn't work on my iphone 7 plus anymore either, even with the update. I hear the beep, beep that she has heard my "hey siri" but then it exits. Doesn't matter if it is plugged in or not, wifi or not. It does work if it isn't locked (and yes, my setting allows for it to work when locked).

Settings-Search & Siri and make sure "Allow Siri When Locked" is toggled on.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo. If that does not fix it, do a restore via iTunes and if necessary contact Apple Support after that.

I have 8 plus with latest IOS, but still "Allow siri when locked" is in display mode and I am not able to enable.

Who can help here.
