Iphone 8 plus snapchat camera shutter

I don't know if any of you has this issue, couldn't find it anywhere but i have this issue where i can't turn off my snapchat camera sound and its pretty annoying, normally when you silent your phone it should directly turn off your shutter voice but it doesn't work on mine (snapchat only) it works on the normal camera and my other apps but while im using snapchat it doesn't. I looked up for some solutions and the only solution was jailbreak and i really don't wanna do that. Please help!
