Last night I was going to sleep with a FaceTime call going, and I locked my phone. Then I went to my lock screen (without unlocking) and it would not lock again, it just stayed lit up. How do i stop this and lock my phone?

Have you tried a restart? Also see the "frozen" section of Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
