Is it normal for os x high sierra to take 80gb of storage on macbook air?

I am using macbook air (early 2015 model) paired with high sierra (10.13.1) and system data is using 76.8gb if of my 128ssd. Is that normal or should I go to an expert to fix this issue(if it is an issue at all)
