Can I join the apple upgrade without trading my old phone
I have to pass my old phone to my mum so that I and all her grandchildren can face time her. So your upgrade system sounds great but how do I join it without an initial phone to hand in.

If you want to join the upgrade program.
This can only be done at the apple store.
