The Server FTP Service disappeared!!

The 5.3.1 version of the FTP service, updated to version 5.4 disappeared!

You also did not give me a description.

Yes, this thing disappeared.

How can I get back this service?

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), Mac mini (Late 2012)

I think you could still turn it on using the command line.

serveradmin still lists it as as service that can be stoped and started.

Also krypted discusses how to turn it on using the GUI.

FTP is not secure unless it supports GSSAPI. Given that, Apple has removed it from Server (see this for more info: Prepare your institution for iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, or macOS Server 5.4 - Apple Support). You should either switch to sftp or find a third party FTP server. In fact homebrew shows that proftpd is available and would probably suite your needs if you must support ftp.
