Notes does not work

Just purchased a new iPhone 8 plus and have set everything up, but I am unable to type in my notes there isn’t even a plus to make a new note or the Aa or even the box in the bottom right corner ? How do I fix this

Ok, if nothing came from a previous backup, I would try to remove Notes app and then download and install it back again (many times this solves the issue).

Follow the steps provided here:
