The simple answer is to stop sharing an Apple ID.


While using the same Apple ID on all of your own devices is what iCloud, Apple Music, and other services are for, they are only meant to be used by one individual.


Sharing an Apple ID across the board can mean you get the same texts, calls, contacts, and other details you may want to keep separate. Family Sharing, as outlined in the article you can from, will allow you to share purchased music, videos, apps, and even iCloud storage without mucking up the other stuff that should be separate.



If you are adamant about sharing an Apple ID (and I will reiterate you shouldn’t, as that’s not how they’re designed to work), you can just turn off the option to receive calls on other devices. On YOUR iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Calls on other devices and uncheck your husband’s iPhone.
