Won't boot up past log in to grey screen then overheating

Hi! Single mom here trying to work. My MacBook pro 2011 17" just glitched last night to grey screen. Hard reboot. The apple logo is seen and can log in BUT white little horizontal lines running through apple and whole screen. See progress bar then disappears to grey screen AND overheating occurs. I have started SMC recovery and NVRAM recovery . Same thing. Got internet recovery started w spinning globe (with white horizontal lines across all) then dissappeared to grey screen overheating began. Any suggestions
