My iPad with the new iOS 11.1.1 will not allow me to delete apps with the x in the corner like before. How do I delete apps now?
I have 16 Apple devices in my home. I expect better communication from Apple regarding changes to product functionality.
Deleting Apps has not changed at all. So nothing for Apple to communicate.
If you are not getting the in the corner after pressing and holding on an app for a few seconds, make sure Deleting Apps is not restricted in Settings->General->Restrictions->Deleting Apps.
Otherwise, what exactly is happening when you try to delete one?
