Can’t download episodes from your feed.

Hello everybody,

I try to post a podcast on itunes but I have this message : "Can’t download episodes from your feed."

At first my image was not good but I redimensioned it and it should be ok now. However I still get the message :"Podcast artwork must be between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests."

Does anybody have an idea ?

Your image is 2,436 x 2,436 px which is OK, but it's 860kB which is too large - you need to get it down to below 500kB. Your episodes are probably OK, though there is a redirect to another URL; however the file there appears to be compliant with requirements.

The image is now an acceptable size, though Podbase is still claiming it's the larger size - possibly a cache problem, and Podcasts Connect still gives the same error. Did you change the filename? If not I should try that.

The episode media file tests out OK but iTunes cannot play it when you subscribe to the feed. There is a redirect via Blubrry, and the file redirected to appears to be OK. I should contact Blubrry support and see whether they can cast light on this.

I ran your feed thru CastFeedValidator and for the most part, everything seems fine. However, the validator reports that your image file is being hosted on a server that doesn't accept http head requests. You should check with the company responsible for hosting this file and see if they can turn http head requests on.
