Picture and audio goes out when I change volume on my Sony receiver Model

My Apple TV 4K through my Sony receiver Model # STR-DH750, every time I change the volume dial or remote volume the picture and audio blank out then I get audio for a few seconds, then it goes silent again and then the picture and audio finally come on togethe. If I’m watching YouTube at the time it would be now paused. Not a huge deal, but if actively going up and down with the volume and then missing bits waiting for it all to come back on is getting to me. My previous model of Apple TV worked fine through this receiver.
