Question: Merge 2 iphones

I was resetting the password on my daughters iPhone ( who is under my account) and I mistakenly merged the two accounts now we share all contacts and her name no longer shows under her phone number. How Can I revert this? Please help!

Hello Cladef,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after changing your daughter's Apple ID password, you're now sharing content. I can surely see how this could be concerning. I'm happy to help.

Apple ID accounts cannot be merged. You may have signed in with your Apple ID on her iPhone. Make sure your daughter has her own Apple ID or create one using the link below:
Create an Apple ID

Use the steps in the following link to sign in with the correct Apple ID:

Also, if you're not already using it, Family Sharing is a great way for up to six family members to share iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases, an Apple Music family plan, and now an iCloud storage plan. Read more about it here:
iCloud - Family Sharing - Apple

Have a wonderful day!
