I have an new iMac running High Sierra.
Is is it possible to install Windows on an external hard drive and run it on my Mac?
i know I can install to my Mac drive, but I want to keep that as is.
I have Windows 10 ISO image.

Follow the Boot Camp instructions to install Windows. Neither Boot Camp nor Microsoft support installing Windows on an external drive.
If you really want Windows installed on an external drive install it using a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.
