Password Confusion

Hi there,


When I sign onto my MacBook Pro, I have to enter one password, and then I have to enter another password to access my user account. Is anyone able to tell me the process for changing each password?

Yes, all you have to do is go to System Preferences. From there click on the Users and Groups category. Next, choose the user account you want to change the password of, and click the Change Password button. Then make the password of the local account the same as your Apple ID.


IMPORTANT NOTE: every time you update this MacBook's OS, you will have to redo this, as this is only a work-around of the new policy.
