got TP link usb wireless today what is my ip address

not sure if the install of TP was successful.do i need to manually put in an ip address and how do i find it

Typically your wireless router is setup for DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and will automatically allocate you an IP address, MASK, router/gateway, DNS, and all of the other interface requirements.


Make sure that your USB interface is setup to use DHCP. Also, make sure you login to your network to start the process of getting the IP address, etc.


So - shorter answer - no need for manual IP entry - it should all be automatic with DHCP.
