Question

iPhone 8 and Apple TV

How does Apple TV app on iPhone8 Plus and iPad work with my TV? I can't make it do anything and had to turn it off in order to use mirroring again.

iPhone 8 Plus, Other OS, Yosemite 10.10.3

Thank you. I think where I was getting confused was that, in Control Centre, there is an AppleTV app which I cannot get to work. That is different frm the little green TVapp I was talking about above. I am used to using mirroring but I could only get sound, not video - now I have turned the TVapp off, that seems to have righted itself. I am still puzzled about how to use the AppleTV app that I can add or delete frm the swipe up menu that is controlled by Control Centre on the iPhone 8 Plus.'

The Control Center "Apple TV" tile is a remote control for an Apple TV, not a replacement for the Screen Mirroring tile.

Ok, thanks. It won't work for me anyway. I just noticed that I'm on a US site, not AUS. Perhaps that's why. Appreciate your help.
