Spotlight search in macOS High Sierra doesn't return accurate result

Since I have updated the OS on my MacBook Pro (late 2014) the Spotlight search does not return a sensible result. I search for an app on my device and it returns movies or documents containing that word.

I tried to re-index the searchable items and it did not help at all. I removed all the searchable places and kept the "Applications" as the only place where spotlight can search and it returned no result at all.

Can someone please help?

The new update (OSx 10.13.2) helped to resolve the issue I reported earlier.

I had trouble updating the OSx through app store, the device could not restart. A manual restart didn't help at all.

Eventually I downloaded the OSx from apple website and updated my OS, everything looks to be working, my spotlight issue is resolve too.
