Question: iMac 21.5" Late 2013 Advice needed

Hi, my iMac 21.5" Late 2013 is currently running Yosemite 10.10.5. Is it worth update to the latest OS?

Also, any advice on cleaning up the hard drive for better/faster performance?

Thanks in advance

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Late 2013

That's quite a leap but High Sierra should run just fine on your machine.

Something that would be worth doing is checking that all the apps you use are going to work or can be updated to work.

There's plenty on the internet, this is a good start:

If you want to take it slow instead of taking the large leap to High Sierra see:

Also make sure to backup before updating see How to use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support.
