Hi, I've tried multiple times so log in user and groups system preferences, I remember the passcode and I tried using terminal to show me the user and it did but when I try to log in it doesn't. Do you know what can I do? In case in can't be recover can I restore my Mac?

I can log into my account, but I can't seem to remember the username in user & groups, I know the password but not the administrator name
I'm doing this:
System preferences > user & groups > locker > user name and password > it doesn't log in
How can I restore the username?
The first article doesn't and there is a link in the 2nd article to another article that explains how to do it. The other option is to boot into the Recovery Partition, erase/reformat and reinstall the OS. You can set up a new admin user as part of Setup Assistant.

Yes, the login password and the admin password may be different. Have you tried the same password as you use to install software?
If you look at your account in System Preferences/Users & Groups, the first line is your user name.
I’ve already used that one. And it says is an starndad user so the administrator user is unknown. At least to me
In System Preferences/Users & Groups do any of the users show as admin?
No, it's just my main account and a guest account
