iPhone X Face ID issue when driving

I use a phone holder when driving, and my passenger often uses my phone e.g. to switch music, or look up an address.

Previously I could simply reach over and activate Touch ID to unlock the phone without taking my eyes off the road.

Now this is impossible with Face ID. Please create a Setting to unlock the phone permanently when it is in range of a "safe Bluetooth device" (i.e. the car). This is a feature that has been on Android for years.
