my iPad seems to have a virus what can I do to find out and fix it?

Hopefully these help:


  • Do you have any profiles in settings that might be redirecting you?
  • Are you using a VPN, DNS changes, Proxies etc that could be causing the redirects?
  • Have you gone downloaded unofficial apps like GBA4iOS or PP25 or something like that?


If none of those work (and its not an exhaustive list just things that I could come up with in about 30 seconds) (not neccessa in this order)


  • When was the last time you backed up your iPad? (You may need to do a full reset)
  • First maybe try resetting your network connections from setings
  • Check your apps for anything suspicious
  • Turn it off and turn it back on again (old gem)
  • Take it to an Apple store
