Question: iphone 8 Auto-lock does not work

iPhone Auto lock does not work. I’ve already adjusted time in settings and reset phone. Also completed update. The reset and update fixed the problem but only temporarily issues arise again. What can be done does it need to be replaced under warranty? With respect to the price we pay for our phones I’m not thrilled with the issue. Thanks for any help

If you or anyone else are having issues, it's best to return to your merchant (Apple Store or whomever) for diagnosis and exchange,

I've an 8 Plus and auto-lock works as expected.

Devices are made by humans, so they will not always all be perfect, which is why warranties exist.
