Ipad pro keyboard is not working

I bought a keyboard for my ipad pro about 18 month ago. After about 6 month some times did not work but since 3 month ago completly stop working. I went to apple store they check that and said the keybord has some issue and does not connect to ipad. They check the warranty and said keybord had just 1 year warranty and I can not do anything. I want know is there any way to repair that or use warranty for that?
