Question: mistaken icloud data sync

Dear all, i really need help in here

in july i got new mac and i switch all data from old mac to new mac, then i bring my old mac to service center to fix hardware / screen problem. before i bring to service center i delete 3 folder ( and all subfolder) data of my work.ter

now i work with my new mac, this month my old mac already back to me and when i start my old mac ( doing nothing), it start to sync with my new mac and all data in this 3 folder also deleted in my new mac. i don't have external time machine back up , but i check time machine icon and check there, i still have internal backup of my data, i try to restore it but after i restore, it show only folder ( not file inside the folder) .

Something to try.

Go to iCloud.com using a computer and select Settings. When that page loads, look at the bottom left side under Advanced and see if you can restore from there.
