iPhone x and Mercedes Car

Hi,

i have recently switched to iPhone X. I was able to connect my new phone to the car for tel. However, the car cannot detect my phone when I try to use ‘media’ function on the car. When I try to search for new Bluetooth device, my phone is not discoverable. Need advice if I am missing any steps or I need to get Mercedes to check.
