LG 5K Display won't turn on when connected to MacBook Pro

LG 5K Display won't turn on when connected to MacBook Pro with TouchBar. It has worked fine for about 3 months. I have two of these monitors. Every few weeks, one won't work. I plug in the one that isn't working into one of the 4 USBC ports that was working with the other monitor and it kind of wakes it up so now the one that wasn't working works in another of the USBC ports and I can run both. But, for the past few days nothing is working to power up the LG monitor. I tried resetting PRAM, NVRAM, booting in safe mode, restarting while connected, restarting while not connected, swapping out the power and USBC cords between the monitors, took the MBP to the Apple Store today to see if there were any issues with the MBP ... and I am sure I am forgetting a few other trouble shooting. I submitted a ticket on LG's website to request repair but am not sure that is where I go since I bought both monitors from Apple. I called Apple to open another ticket and the rep setup another appointment for me at the Apple Store, I suppose to take the monitor in this time, but wasn't quite sure. I am probably about to do a clean install of the MacOS again to see if that helps but would prefer not to do so because it takes so long to setup everything that I use on my MBP. If anyone has any other helpful tips, please let me know. It could be that the monitor just went bad but after only about 3 months, I doubt it. Thanks for any help. Joseph
