washington post subscription acquired via apple news on iPad. How can I access this same subscription on my MacBook

I bought a subscription to theeWashington Post via Applenews on myiPad.It seems it should be possible to access this same subscription on my MacBook but I have not been successful in this. Any help?

iPhone 6 Plus, El Capitan

I understand you purchased the Washington Post for your iPad, but you would also like to view it on your MacBook.
It appears the version you purchased is only for iOS devices (iPad and iPhone) - The Washington Post
It doesn't appear that they have a Mac version - Washington Post Apps
