Beachballing and slow performance w/ EtreCheck

For the past couple weeks, I cant spend more than 30 minutes on Google Chrome without beachballing, slowing down, and eventually becoming completely unresponsive. I am then forced to Force Restart. I'm pretty computer illiterate, hence why I need help determining the issue. Thank you in advance to anyone that can assist.

You may have a variant of InstallMac (trojan horse that you were tricked into installing).

It is possible that the files listed as deleted by etrecheck may have solved the problem, but will only be removed from your system after a Restart.

You also do not appear to have made a backup since March. You need to obtain a large External drive (2x to 3x the size of what needs to be saved). Do not pay extra for FAST. Turn on Time Machine and go about your business while it works automatically in the background.

One additional reason for the extreme slowness is that your boot drive may be failing. Making a backup is urgent.
