High Sierra and Command + A

I have a new iMac and just installed High Sierra. I am trying to copy all my photos from my iCloud drive to my computer and I cannot get the Command + A to work to select all. Does anyone have any suggestions?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Maybe select one file first, then do Command A? I just changed to High Sierra and just checked selecting files in iCloud Drive and it seems to work fine here.
