Update to IOS 11 issues.

I successfully updated my Iphone to ios 11. Next step was to log into my Apple account using my Apple ID and password. I did that successfully too or I wouldn't be signed in here. Next step was to accept Terms. I agreed to the terms. Then it goes and comes back with "Could not sign in". I can't get to any of my phone functions without getting past this step but it won't let me. Please help. Thanks, Sue

Thank you for replying. I had tried the restart and that didn’t fix it but it was a great suggestion. I did finally get it to work. I chose forgot password even though I knew it and noticed that there was an option to by pass signing into Apple at that time and instead signing in in Settings so I tried that. My phone options came up and I called Apple Support because it still wasn’t letting me sign in under settings. It was still saying “Could not sign in” even though I could log in using web with same ID and Password. But while talking to support all of a sudden I was logged in okay. Support says they did not understand what caused this delay. Thanks again for your help. Hopefully between what you said and now me someone else will have an easier time with getting the update to go completely through.

Try a forced restart.

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.
