I just want know if I can save a back up to my iPad. I have had to make a new Apple ID A couple of times. And they have been on different mobile devices. i would like to get all of my data ie... photos, data, music etc. all on one account. But I’m worried if I change my id I’ll loose all my data from that phone

Your backup choices are iCloud or iTunes. I think the best way to combine all your data would be to get it all to a computer.

Except made a backup of it to it.
Allowing this is would be false economy. The value of a backup is that it is stored on another device.
If your iPad fails, both your data and its backup are lost.
First of all, may I ask why you are creating a new Apple ID(s)? Remember, any data (in iCloud) tied to one Apple ID, will stay with that ID.
I thought so. But that doesn’t really help me because I don’t have access to a computer very often. I can usually do everything I need right off my iPad.
