why can't I display my play lists by Album on iPhone?

In my mac itunes library, I can easily View my playlists as "Albums" rather than "songs".

I can't figure out how to do this on my iPhone where iTunes displays my playlists in total detail. If I wish to go into a playlist like "Soundtracks", to find a specific album, I have to spend time scrolling up and down past hundreds of tracks to get to my desired soundtrack album. Why can't my tracks be "Viewed as Albums" like in my mac iTunes library where I can choose to view tracks as "Playlists, Songs, Albums, Artists, Composers, Genres"???
