I just updated to iTunes 12.7.1.14 today and I am no longer able to choose what songs sync to my iPhone. The box I used to check on the left hand side is gone. I also tried right clicking on the track and the "uncheck song" option is also gone. Does anyone else have this problem or a work around? I have over 90GB of music in itunes, but do not want it all on my phone.
The last two itunes updates gave sharing and sync problems, especially the last one 12.7.1.14 locked me out from sharing music with other computers on my home network. I already regret I allowed this last update big time. It is very aggravating, cause even though all connected computers are running this same latest version of itunes, at this moment I can forget about sharing between computers. I guess I will tune down to the previous version of itunes. What the **** is Apple doing to its longtime itunes customers???
Under Edit > Preferences > General tick Show: List view checkboxes.
Syncing with selected playlists will give better control of what goes on your device, while allowing the tracks you don't add to play normally in the library.
