Ever since iOS 11 was released my iPad mini 2 stopped charging. Is there a fix on its way for this?

Try If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support and try different cable/adapter.

My sons iPad is exactly the same...I have done resets, restores, used 12w (Apple) wall chargers, my iMac, all to no avail, and have just got back from my local SimplyMac where they confirmed the unit taking the charge, but no way to get it to turn on, hard resets etc everything tried...most annoyed right now. 😠... im guessing it will be off to Apple it goes...

I have the same problem to the extent that it stops charging when asleep. To restart the charge, I have to disconnect and then re-connect the charging cable.
