Question: MacBook won’t accept my iCloud password

So my trackpad wasn’t working (still isn’t).. moving on it’s own and not responding.

Anyway, this is the second time it has happened and when I called support I was told to reset my laptop.

That is what I did.

It gave me 3 options before continuing and I clicked “forgot my password” because it seemed like the quickest. It made me enter my Apple ID and Password. I loaded and finally took me where you enter the password to unlock the laptop so you can use it.

Well, it’s telling me to use my iCloud password and it’s not accepting it. I changed it, and it’s not accepting it. I don’t know what to do. Please help.
