Scenes in Clips App Do Not Work on my iPhone X

I recently installed the Clips app on my iPhone X. For some reason, the Scenes section of the app does not function/work properly on my iPhone X. Whenever I move the phone around, the background scene remains static and only shows a small portion of the background. I already re-installed the app and reset my iPhone, but the app is still not responding properly. Apple Support has not been able to assist me as well. I just hope that it is not a hardware issue with the depth sensing camera. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with this particular app?

I was able to resolve the issue I had initially reported with the Clips app. I think somehow the app got corrupted and instead of re-installing it from iCloud, I had to delete it from iCloud and then do a fresh install from the App Store. Try that and see if that works for you as well.

Here are some steps that may help you:

1. Update to the latest version of iOS and the App (if there is a update)

2. delete the app and reinstall it

if these steps dont work probs a software/hardware problem-

You may also have to delete the Clips app from iCloud before installing it from Apple Store. I did the same and everything works now. If you still have a problem, you may want to close out all your open apps as it could be a memory issue.

Hi I have tried all the above mentioned steps.For the first time it worked ,but again the same issue.The background remains static.I have a question,As this works on Augmented reality,Does it depend on the light conditions or the place where you are pointing your camera

I tried to delete from iCloud I believe I did it right using iOS 11 but it’s till doesn’t seem to work. Can someone explain how to correctly delete an app from iCloud like explained and also if there is any other fix?

I called Apple last night and they went to through some troubleshooting that did not work. Their current recommendation is to back up my phone reset it to factory settings and see if that works. If that does not work then they are going to upgrade the help request to the next level and who knows what that will include. I will keep posting as this issue continues

Did you also delete the app from iCloud prior to installing it from the App Store as I had suggested? If that still doesn't work, try closing out all your open apps as it could be a memory issue.
