Question: Smart Keyboard issue after updating to iOS 11

Hi Gents,

I have updated my iPad Pro 9.7” to iOS 11.1 and after the update I have started having issues with my Smart Keyboard it keep disconnecting and I have to restart my iPad Multiple times and the response is also very slow specially when using Micrososft outlook or Safari.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after updating your iPad Pro, your Smart Keyboard intermittently disconnects and responds slowly. I'm happy to help.

I recommend reinstalling iOS with iTunes. This can resolve possible software issues. When reinstalling iOS, iTunes will completely remove your current software and install a fresh version. While iTunes will try to do this without removing data, it's a good idea to make sure you have a recent backup before trying this step.

Use the steps in the link below to reinstall iOS with iTunes:
