iphone7+ screen black following update ios11.1.1

Hey , I went to bed leaving my iPhone 7+ performing latest update ios11.1.1 I believe) and this morning woke up to an unresponsive black screen.

It has been plugged in and I know there’s life because I get that vibrating feedback from the home button.

I’ve tried a restart holding power and home buttons (for ages) several times but nothing .. Literally nothing else can do , luckily I think it’s just within 12 month warranty .

Anyone else experience this ?

Thanks .. yes it took a call into Apple to realise that power and volume down button is now the new way to restart , I didn’t know this had changed since ip6
