High Sierra installation failed - What a mess I am in now....

Hello!

I wonder if anyone here could assist me? I am utterley lost now...

I tried to install High Sierra last night. It has failed - Start up screen. Progress bar seizes up after a moment or two and then the Mac shuts down.

The internal drive is now showing as 100% full and I know its not.

The nternal drive is not showing as an option to boot from or re-install.

Neither back up drive is showing up as an option here either.

What, please, do I do now? The wife is going to kill me if I cant rescue this one!!!

Thanks and regards.

Ian the one thing that I will tell is that I had the same problem so how I fixed my issue is after it shuts down than it fails right than wipe out your hard disk though make sure to back up the important file and than restart your process from a fresh hard disk or ssd and that should fix the problem unless if you have really old Mac that is not supported.
