How can I ensure that Skype is fully unistalled from my macbook?

Hi there,

after uploading and installing Skype I decided not to use it. Meanwhile I also signed in with my Skype account on the online portal and a plug-in was installed onto my MacBook.

After that I looked for all files including the word Skype and removed them from my Computer, but I am not sure that the application and plug-in were removed completely. Maybe some files called some how else, but belong to Skype remained on my PC.

How can I ensure, that it is not the situation I have?
