I have noticed in my login window i have my 4 accounts user plus my guest user and now i have on the screen
"Other"
e.g.
Tom login Kate login Me login guest login Other login???
I have no idea how or where "other login has come from nor can i remove it in settings
I am running iMac 27inch macOS High Sierra. I have reinstalled and still is there can anyone help please

Thank you for taking the time to help me, i had already tried everything you mentioned before posting.
I have removed some user and i have main user (Me) then my 2 kids as other users plus guest which is turned off.
I have covered my family names under note (Pink) the "other" user is still showing. It all seem to occur since i activated iCloud 2TB and but it also may not be the reason to show up i since turned iCloud off.
System Preferences> Users & Groups, can you show us a screenshot of what is shown in the panel.
Unlock the padlock, to remove a user highlight and then click the - (minus) button. Are you able to do this?
If you look in Macintosh HD/Users folder and see the list of users is Other listed there, and if you Control-Click on it and then Move it to the Trash and then restart the mac does it still appear on login.
