Do Not Disturb not visible

I manually use do not disturb but with the iPhone 10 you need to swipe down from the top right to see the icon, I got up this morning and would normally notice the icon when looking at my phone but because it’s hidden I didn’t realise my phone was on do not disturb for about four hours after I got up, anyone else noticed this?
