Notification sounds

Hi I’m having a serious problem, I am getting badges from all my my apps but none of them are making sounds, I have tried everything from resetting my phone to do not disturb being off, I am moments away from returning my phone, please help with this, thanks.

Hello Daywalker319,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to get notification sounds on your iPhone, even after trying some good troubleshooting steps. At this point, your next step is to use iTunes on your Mac or PC to backup and restore your iOS software to factory settings, as this process erases the information and settings on your device and installs a fresh copy of the latest iOS software. Temporarily setup your phone as new to test your issues, and then restore your backup and test the issues again.
