Macbook stuck at start up after high Sierra install

Hi, I just installed high Sierra in my macbook, worked fine then after I turned it off for the night the progress bar loads fully then stops. Left it over night and still stays the same. Safe mode doesn't load and resetting PRAM does nothing. I can get to disc utility and scanned hard drive and all seems fine. I have even went though Internet reinstall of lion and its just the same. It's a late 2011 13inch macbook pro. Any help is appreciated as I really don't want to wipe my hard drive and start again.
