Click and Drag function on touch pads broke on High Sierra

Please Note:

High Sierra broke click and drag function.

On an apple touchpad the simple click and hold with one finger while you drag with a second finger "Usually your thumb" was broken in "High Sierra".

To click and drag on Mac with a touch Pad you will need BOTH HANDs,

One to high the file the second to hit the "Option" key so you then can drag and drop the file.

Apple will tell you that is not a BUG but it truly is.

WHY???

Because you went from a one-handed action to a two-handed action.

Apple Folks.... You are going backwards please fix this ASAP.

This makes it exceptionally hard for me since I am a one-handed user.

it's not just high sierra -- my wife is on sierra but her macbook is from 1-2 years ago and she doesn't have that option. my own macbook still has it, but it's 3+ years old. (and i just got a new model for work which also doesn't have it)
