My browsers will not connect..help??

I have a macbook pro high sierra


everything was working great yesterday. A new uodate apple was needed, I updated. Now none of my browsers will work, but my internet is connected. What happened?? Thanks

Go step by step and test.


1. Restart the Mac couple of times.


2. Startup in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Once in Safe Mode, hard click the “Restart” button at the bottom to restart normally.


3. Reset PRAM. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063


4. Deselect Proxies,if selected.


System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab

Unlock the lock if you have to.

Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if check marked.

Click "OK" then "Apply”.

Try running this program in your normal account, then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy Report” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
